Age Restrictions

• Ages 6 and up to Ride (Passenger)

• Ages 18* and up to Drive (Operator)
  *Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, must have a valid proof of a Boating Safety Education ID Card

Mandatory Requirements

• Government Issued Photo Identification is required upon arrival and must be carried on board while operating a jet ski (personal watercraft).​

• All participants shall complete and sign the Liability Waiver and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign the Liability Waiver

• A BOATERS SAFETY LICENSE REQUIRED

  • Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, must-have, in their possession, a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card (or a valid FWC and NASBLA approved boating education certificate).

  • If you do not have a Florida Boating Safety Education ID Card, you can take the Temporary Boating Safety Education Certificate exam prior to your reservation.   Click here to take the test online.

  • A copy of your temporary certificate must be presented upon arrival for your rental. A physical copy of the printed certificate or a digital copy presented on your mobile device is sufficient.

  • If you do not have the exam complete or fail to have the required documentation at your reserved time, we will attempt to reschedule you to a later time or date based upon availability, your reservation may be canceled with no refund available.

Cancellation Policy

All SIB Water Sports reservations require a non-refundable prepaid deposit at the time of booking. Reservations can be canceled without penalty no later than 24 hours prior to the booked time. Cancelations with less than 24 hours’ notice, no shows, and failure to comply with the mandatory requirements for rentals will forfeit the prepaid deposit and will not be rescheduled. In the event that inclement weather or unsafe water conditions prevent us from fulfilling your reservation, at your request, SIB Watersports will use commercially reasonable efforts to move you to a different location or reschedule.
